Making decisions & solving problems

Some aspects of decision making and problem solving can’t be handled by a spreadsheet and it is these we concentrate on when coaching. Making decisions may be technical skill but it is often judged by how you are perceived by others. This might include whether you are seen to be making decisions without procrastinating, whether you project an sound understanding the right profit levers, how you set priorities, anticipate consequences, encourage creativity, evaluate alternatives, adapt to change, show flexibility, take the initiative, and whether you show consistently sound judgment.
